The St Leonards Festival
WHEN: Saturday 29th October 2011
The St Leonards Festival now in its fifth year, is held on the
Saturday of the Melbourne Cup Weekend.
The Bellarine Art Show is also on in the town over the same weekend.
2009 St Leonard's Festival
We are focused on showcasing what St Leonards has to offer from local
artist and entertainers to local produce and craft, as well as trying
to include all community organisations in the festival. Another
important part of our plan is to showcase the history of our town and
region through photos and displays.

This years Festival will add to the ongoing success with
- The celebration of 100 years of the St Leonards Progress Association
- Continued cooperation with the Bellarine Art Show
- A strong stage entertainment programme including local and school bands, and cultural dance
- A continued and improved Heritage element with an improved “on this site” walking tour
- An array of local produce
- Increased community groups participation CFA/Neighborhood Watch/Sporting Clubs etc
- Over 50 market stalls run by the Primary School and Cricket Club
- The 4rd annual family fishing competition
…all adding up to a significant reason to be in St Leonards on Melbourne Cup weekend.
